Church Work Days - Saturdays, May 18th & 25th

A great group of folks came to help us beautify our campus, inside and out!  It was sure a lot of work, but it sure was FUN!

All-Church Work Day To-Do List

A note from Ryan, concerning what needs to be done at SCN during our All-Church Work Day
(5/25/13, 7:30am-12:30pm):

Dear SCN,

I am posting this in order to communicate additional grounds priorities leading up to our 40 Year Anniversary. Please comment on any additional items that you see as a concern. Please note that the Peach Street to Water Street Corner is a priority for this Memorial day Weekend. We will be clearing out that area for chips and if anyone wants to work on this before we have our work day tomorrow, please feel free! SPRAYING SHOULD HAPPEN BEFORE ANY CHIPS ARE LAID. See below and call for any questions: 503-989-9156 .

1.Mow all areas:
a. Sanctuary front yard
b. Potter’s House front yard
c. Potter’s House back yard

2.Weed-eat all areas:
a. Sanctuary front yard
b. Potter’s House front yard
c. Potter’s House back yard

3.Peach street and Peach/Water Corner:
a. Mow at lowest possible level without bagging.
b. Rake all debris from non-bagged mower/weed-eater
c. Spray
d. Level bark chips to even surface sparingly

4.Spray gravel areas in parking lot.

5.Apply chimney cap on with metal tape / screws at Potter’s House.

6.Hedge bushes common to North parking and south side of Potter’s House.

7.For those of you planning to provide any flowering plants, the new policy is that the plant shall require A PLANTER. It’s a little additional cost to ensure the plant doesn’t get damaged.

Please contact the church office for any questions. These questions should be handled by the “Office Angels” and brought to the trustees when necessary.

Thank you.
